WLHA & Wargroup joint Training Weekend

Joint training weekend of Wargroup and Wartime Living History Association from Northern Ireland (82nd Airborne) on 3rd and 4th October 2009 in County Waterford. Scenario - night between 5th and 6th June '44 (includingnight exercises in full moon).

W dniach 3-4 października gdzieś w hrabstwie Waterford odbyły się wspólne ćwiczenia Wargroup i Wartime Living History Association z Irlandii Północnej (82 DPD). Scenariusz - noc z 5 na 6 czerwca '44 (m. in. nocne ćwiczenia przy pełni księżyca).

It all started nice and smart with only ocassional shout from the Major.

Zaczęło się niewinnym apelem z okazjonalnymi pokrzykiwaniami ze strony majora

Parade was followed by most interesting tactics lecture.

Po apelu odbył się fascynujący wykład na temat taktyki.

First Sergeant was delighted with our progress.

Pierwszy sierżant był zachwycony naszymi postępami.

But the fight went on.

Ale walka wciąż trwała.

We've bumped from time to time onto innocent civillian.

Od czasu do czasu trafialiśmy na niewinnego cywila.

There were few casualties.

Po drodze mieliśmy kilku rannych.

But fear not, as the Nursing Service was there to help you.

Ale bez obaw - służby medyczne czekały w gotowości.

At the end of the day everyone was tired, but happy.
